Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR)
Nicolet™ iS50 Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer, fitted with Smart-iTR™ diamond Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) attachment for ATR measurements; instrument can also be configured for transmission mode measurements, with a variety of gas, liquid, and solid sample cells available. Ge-on-KBr beamsplitter. The iS50 has two detectors: a liquid nitrogen-cooled MCT-A detector; spectral range 600-11,7000 wavenumbers, and a DLaTGS detector with spectral range 350-7,800 wavenumbers. The MCT-A detector is more sensitive, and can be used to detect weak signals from dilute samples.
